Rain kills more than 100 people, India
The amount of 107 people have died after being hit by lightning in the Northern and Eastern parts of India during the country's rainy season and major annual rainy season which causes a major disaster.
Officials in India said at least 83 people have been killed in a poor state of Bihar after hit by lightening while 24 others have died in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
Head of the department of prevention of disasters the state of Bihar, said it is one of the highest number of deaths from lightning-ever record in a single day in the province in recent years.
India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent condolences to the families of the victims, adding that the federal government takes steps to provide the necessary support.
