GOVERNMENT FISCAL YEAR 2020/2021 Passes VOTE FOR MANY

MPs have adopted the central government budget for the financial year 2020/2021 amounting to 34.88 trillion.

The budget was passed with 304 votes out of the 371 votes cast by the MPs present in parliament in Dodoma.

Activities polling, done by MP called his name and vote publicly voice.

Announcing the results of the vote, the Secretary of Parliament, Stephen Kagaigai said MPs who voted were 371 and 13 MPs were not present in parliament.

Kagaigai said, portrayed the 63 votes 'no' and 304 have voted "Yes.

After Kagaigai finished results, Speaker of the Parliament of Tanzania, Job Ndugai stood up and said, "is the most votes, a record never before. Polls indicate that the future .. "then members of the ruling party (CCM) and acclamation 'tickle.'

Also, Speaker Ndugai has commended the Ministry of Finance and Planning under its minister, Dr. Philip Plan how the cooperation provided by the Parliamentary Committee and the whole House when all of the presentation of the budget for five consecutive years.
