"I want to be President of Your Dreams."
I. INTRODUCTION
Honorable Fellow Citizens of Tanzania and friends of our country;
On 25 October this year (2020) we are going to choose a president, MPs and councilors to lead our country for another period of five years. Typically, the choice is a period which gives every citizen the opportunity and responsibility to make sure we get the policies and leadership, to either appear or contest the leadership vote to elect the right person to lead our nation well.
Dear Citizens, leading to general elections this year, I am Rev. Peter Simon Msigwa, I have decided to take responsibility for our country to emerge to give the broadest opportunities to get the best president who has never happened in the history of our country.
As I have suggested a few days ago, today officially declare my intention to run for the presidency of the United Republic of Tanzania. And prepared in accordance with the Constitution and procedures for our party - the Party for Democracy and Progress (CHADEMA) - have submitted a formal notice to request an appointment with our party run for the presidency of the United Republic of Tanzania.
II. WHY want it PRESIDENCY OF TANZANIA
Dear Sirs, I am driven by one basic thing wanting to run this place of supreme leadership of our nation. I want to lead a radical reform of the administrative, economic and educational development will bring dramatic and rapid, floating integrated and sustainable for the benefit of present and future of our Tanzania.
Dear Citizens, Officials attention grows. Good leaders carries a vision of the country they intend to build. My dream is to remove Tanzania on the list of poorest countries in the world and give the correct direction of intellectual, administrative and policy will kaoiwezesha come to be among developed countries in the world. I have a real commitment, proper vision and ability to lead well enough to Tanzania to attain this great dream. Well, the dream of Tanzania highly developed to the point!
Dear Citizens, there is great controversy about the state of development of our country. Usually, a fellow of the CCM have been swagger that they have done so many things since independence and that our country has continued to rapidly! We have all heard how the nation has likiaminishwa that "we're fine" despite that the situation is very different and as equals.
Dear Sirs, we are going to choose new leaders to lead our country, it is important that we finish the current controversies about our progress. It should be every Tanzanian he understood exactly what development is all that we would not choose people who can bring "real progress" in the country. For strutting and myths built by CCM leaders that "our country supposedly continued," I have to give the correct interpretation and assessment of stuck to the development of our country.
III. Stuck to the development of our country
Dear Sirs, I beg her to understand better our people. My argument is not that there is not even one shallow and the rule of CCM, but the fact is that under all governments of the Party, our country has continued sluggish development for a long time, has lost direction and absolute failure to move large and new development.
Dear Citizens, basically, all the things that CCM has been be the "progress" still does not match at all with the bulk of the resources of our country do not have long to more than half a century in which CCM laying power.
In addition, many of the things that took place under the CCM, still has no status at all called "progress". Much is the only solution to the concerns minor - and which have been repeated frequently.
Dear Citizens, 59 years after independence, our country still exists there pa there all day. Still Tanzania is one of the poorest World Bank on Research in Income and Expenditure of Households (Household Budget Survey) of 2018, confirms that more than half of the population still live in poverty on less than US $ 1.90 per person per day. That still many people can not afford even the basic necessities of life including food, clothing, shelter, and medical help!
Dear Citizens, there is evidence that our country back and very unresponsive development is great. I pray that all Tanzanians know that when we got independence in 1960, Tanzania and Malaysia as well as other countries of the Eastern continent of Asia, famed as the "East Asian Tigers" like South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Indonesia, were at the same level the development and population. Today, 59 years after independence, Tanzania has been left far from those countries despite having the resources God has given us much more than those countries.
