Resident Magistrate's Court judge, Dar es Salaam, intends to start listening to the requests of the sponsors who have Singida East MP, Tundu Lissu who want the accused to be arrested in order to give themselves a scholarship.

These applications number 2/2020 last came before Chief Resident Magistrate, Thomas Simba where the Republic requested an extension of time to submit responses refractory oath.

Senior attorney, Simon asked the court Wankyo time in order to submit responses to the oath refractory due to the application submitted by the sponsors.

Simba judge admitted the application and give the Republic time where they should within seven days to have the answers submitted with the application will be heard on July 14.

"Proceedings of the base number 208 of 14 July 2016 shall be as specified in this application pending hearing and determination," said Judge Leo.

In February this year, the trustees of Lissu had separately told the court that they have filed an application before the court requesting an arrest warrant Lissu bear in order to commit the warranty due to the absence suspect in the case.

Wankyo lawyer acknowledged receipt of the application accompanied by an affidavit and request the court to give them enough time to be able to analyze it.

Lissu and four colleagues in the base case, faced five charges, including writing news incitement against the Newspaper Act of 2002.

Allegedly between January 12 and 14, 2016 in Dar es Salaam, the accused Jabir Idris, depth and Lissu Simon wrote and publish inflammatory information with a headline that says 'Chaos coming to Zanzibar'.

On the second count, they are alleged to be January 14, 2016, published the news that brings hatred to the people of Zanzibar.

Defendant Ismail Mehboob, who is the publisher of Company Jamana, claimed to be January 13, 2016, in the building of the company's existing Ilala Municipality, published newspaper was rising and inflammatory statements.

It is alleged that the defendant had also published a newspaper without the submission of documents to the law of allegiance to the Registrar of Newspapers.
